Red face Beast Summoner

the beast summoner would be a supporting character, not to be used for melee, or for healing but to a degree both.
this is because he does not primarily do much damage himself, mostly through the creatures he summons.
each time a creature is summoned he must sacrifice some of his own life and energy, the life he expends becomes the life of the creature, and the energy is the cost of the spell. this would in effect limit the number or summons, as to many would mean his own death at which point the summoned creatures are forced to return to their place of origin.
the summoners armour would be inline with that of the ranger, being crafted from tanned hide and iron ingots, and weaponwise would use 2 handed staves that increase energy and summoning powers.
his base abilities would be

Energy Boost: (primary) for every rank on energy boost, the summoner gains 4 energy, allowing them to increase the effectiveness of summons

Battle Summons: increasing this attribute allows more powerful attacking creatures to be summoned

Healing Summons: incresing this attribute allows more powerful healing creatures to be summoned

Blood Sharing: for each point in this attribute, summoning creatures will cost the summoner 2 less health points and increase the summoned creatures health by 2

Controlling: for each point spent in this attribute the player increases the amount of creatures it is possible to summon

by seperating battle and healing summons, this allows a choice of which sort of summoner the player wishes to be. upon being summoned each creature acts independently and vanishes when its hit points are used up.players should also be aware that different creatures have a different summon rating.
ie
Wild Boar: (battle) a small wild boar is brought forth to attack your enemies.
cost 5 health 5 energy 1 control point
Pheonix: (healing) a pheonix hovers over the battle field and heals you and your allies.
cost 15 health 15 energy 5 control points
the reason for control points is that if you tried to summon a beast that was to powerful for you, it would turn on you and your allies, therefore the teachers placed these boundries on there pupils to stop rogue summons

funny i signed up with this forum to make the same surgestion but u beat me to it

I agree with everything u have written here apart from one thing, that being if the summoner has to give health with every beast they summon it would make them very vulnerable. Also they would already be targeted the same as an MM in battle if u add the health loss they would be a very easy kill. So if there was a way to protect them while they summon. aside from that i say awesome!

(and a side note for gw people, GIVE PARAGONS PANTS! everytime i sit i show my undies let alone the daily harrassment)
